Airlink receives Ubuntu Award
This past weekend Airlink received the Department of International Relations & Co-operation’s 2025 Ubuntu Economic Diplomacy Award for a South African business operating primarily in Africa. This prestigious annual honor was awarded to Airlink in recognition of its contribution to South Africa’s reputation as an ideal destination to conduct business and to South Africa’s socio-economic goals, including job creation, trade facilitation and attracting investment.
Why a Sunbird?
In Africa, sunbirds are found mostly in sub-Saharan Africa and Madagascar. The Airlink network covers the same area as an inter-airline service provider, expanding its routes further into that territory.
